About the Founder
Hi, I'm Wendy — a mom of two (one in college and one heading there in 2026), a serial nurturer, and the heart behind Dorm Drop.
After years of sending my own care packages - battling boxes, bubble wrap, and post office lines - I realized just how much time, energy, and second-guessing goes into sending love from afar. I wanted to create something better. Something that made students feel seen and supported, while saving parents the stress of figuring out what to send and how to send it.
Dorm Drop was born from that in-between space: where home meets independence - and how a cookie, a journal, or a simple note can shift the tone of a tough week.
Every box is curated with that same mom-level thoughtfulness - but without the tape, hassle, or shipping label stress. Whether your student is thriving, struggling, or somewhere in between, Dorm Drop is a monthly reminder that they're loved, celebrated, and not alone.
From our hearts to their dorm,
- Wendy

Our Commitment to Sustainability
We believe sending love shouldn't come at the planet's expense. That's why Dorm Drop packaging is thoughtfully sourced with sustainability in mind.
Our custom mailer boxes are made by Arka using 100% recycled materials and printed with non-toxic soy-based inks. Our aluminum water bottles are a lower-waste, fully recyclable option - and wherever possible, we partner with brands and makers who share our commitment to doing better - for your dorm and for the world.

How Dorm Drop Came to Be
This business isn't just about cookies and care packages - it's about connection.
I started Dorm Drop because I know how powerful it is for students to feel remembered - especially during those long stretches of homesickness, exam stress, or everyday adulting. I've seen firsthand the difference a thoughtful gesture can make - not just for my own kids, but for their friends, roommates, and classmates too.
My goal is simple: to help students feel supported in tangible, joyful ways - and to help parents, grandparents, godparents, aunts, uncles, and friends stay connected, even when miles apart.
This isn't just a subscription box. It's a way to say:
I see you. I miss you. I'm cheering you on.
